I'm Lucas — Head of Growth for Latin America, co-founder, and builder. I've spent years at the intersection of fintech, crypto, and startup growth. Always curious, always building.
My story started far from the startup world. Between 2010 and 2013 I volunteered across the Amazon, Antioquia, and Indonesia — serving isolated communities as an interpreter for medical brigades, supporting human trafficking prevention programs, and working with coffee farmers on social impact initiatives with the private sector. Those years shaped how I see the world: people first, always.
From there I built and sold an online language institute that grew to over 2,000 active students, got my feet into fintech as VP of Operations for a Bitcoin ATM company in Latam, co-founded a software development company, and eventually found my home at the intersection of crypto and global growth — leading expansion for Paxful across Southeast Asia, then co-founding Table and now driving Latam growth at Citadel.
Today I'm also building InboxLabs — a product that lets companies run on WhatsApp and other messaging apps — and Goodmarxs, a rewards and promotions company based in Colombia.
Outside of work: I live on a farm near Medellín, collect music, grow my own food, raise free-range hens, and build my family with Cata 💍, Amy 🌻, and Susi 🐾
